Meet Kerry Dyer, CPA/CGMA

kerrydyerphoto1Kerry’s practice focuses on entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and professionals.  In addition to providing bookkeeping, tax planning and preparation services.  She provides training for Quickbooks online, Xero and Zoho Books which can be done remotely or face to face.  Kerry also provides Quickbooks Desktop training for those users that haven’t converted to the online version yet.  Ms. Dyer is a sought after speaker and business consultant dedicated to helping business owners and individuals achieve personal and business success.

Kerry has over 25 years’ experience in both the corporate and public accounting.  While working in the corporate environment, she gained insight into the many aspects of running a business because she worked closely with each department to improve efficiencies from the ground up.  She has worked for the small start-ups companies such as TriNet Services to large companies such as Bosch Telecom, Pergo, Vishay Intertechnology and Marconi Communications.  Kerry has worked on software implementation teams, marketing task force teams, distributions reorganization projects, budget and forecasting projects for the entire organization, negotiated with vendors and bankers, completed break even analysis, and return on investment analysis to name a few.  Ms. Dyer has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from Ashland University, in Ashland, Ohio.  Kerry is a member of the American Institute of Public AccountantsNorth Carolina Associaton of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Tax Professionals.  Kerry is a Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor, Certified Zoho Books Advisor and is currently working to become a Certified Advisor with Xero.  She enjoys helping small business to  understand the power of accounting software and what a valuable tool it can be when making management decisions.

Kerry is an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Women’s Power Networking, BNI, and many non-profit activities that involve helping those less fortunate.  She loves having individuals for holiday dinner that have no family in the area join her family.  She loves to spend time with her family, including her husband of 35 years, Tim and two sons and daughter-in-law.  To relax, Kerry enjoys working in her garden, trying new recipes, sewing crafts, and curling up with a good book.
